Guest Contributor

If it weren't for my kindergarten teacher Mrs. Ewen, I am not sure my parents would have ever started enouraging me to draw as much as they do. She took note of my ideas, and mentioned it to my mom at parent teacher conferences. The outside (and expert) opinion helped them see my projects in a new light.

Today at school, Mrs. Ewen gave me a sketch pad to help me continue to develop my talents. On the first sheet of the book is the following drawing. Thanks Mrs. Ewen.

Carl Fredrickson from Up

We saw the movie Up this week. It was really good. While we were watching it again tonight, I drew this picture of Carl.

Talking Art

Today after church I made two new characters: Monkey and Dr. Mouse. Here is Monkey:

Everyone liked Dr. Mouse so much, we made a movie about him: "The Story of Dr. Mouse and the Sadness." Enjoy.

A sample of the fall foliage around the neighborhood:
This was a great collaboration with my whole family, and one of my largest pieces to-date. If you look closely at the leaves, there are a few hidden surprises... (it's not Leafman, but see if you can spot a close relative of his)
